TaylorMade Burner Rescue Hybrids

The TaylorMade Burner Rescue is comprised of four primary features that were on all clubs on that line that set it apart and allow it to stand out: Dual crown technology, large size and footprint, fast-looking head shape, SuperFast technology. The dual crown weighs less than previous crowns, it allows TaylorMade to redistribute the weight and lower the center of gravity by a considerable margin. Lower CG means easier launch, higher ball flight, and in turn more carry and distance. The larger footprint increases the MOI, the higher the MOI the more forgiving the club is when shots aren't hit right in the sweet spot. The fast-looking triangular head shape kinda just sounded hokey to me when I read it, but to be honest it is a shape that inspires confidence when I address the ball. The spec sheet I read also seemed to indicate that the shape was for more than just confidence, it allowed for the center of gravity to be very deep in the back of the head. With a CG that is placed far in the back of the head, the easier the club is to hit high and long. The SuperFast technology is all about the grip and shaft that comes stock on these clubs. The shaft is light-weight and the grip is light-weight. These allow you to maximize clubhead speed and hit the ball to the best of your ability. This hybrid is great from all over the course and the rescue aspect means its especially good from the rough.
