About the Taylormade Rac OS Single Iron
The TaylorMade Rac OS Iron has numerous features that make it a very good choice for irons to bag. TaylorMade improved the rac technology with larger "Feel Pockets" which enhance vibration control and give it a really good feel. They improved and repositioned the "Tuned Performance Cartridge" wich allowed them to move more weight to the perimeter of the face to increase the MOI and improve launch angles. The top line was revised to look strong and inspire confidence at address. They utilized an ultra-thin clubface and increased the depth of the cavity back which maximizes the forgiveness and accuracy. The offset (OS) promotes a straight flight. Lastly the T-Step Ultralite steel shaft that comes stock is extremely light which promotes club head speed and thus distance. Overall, it is a very good iron set that still holds up to todays standards.
