The main difference between the SM6 wedge and it's predecessor, the SM5 wedge, is that the SM6 leaned into a focus on trajectory control. To achieve the best results Titleist moved the center of gravity around depending on the loft of the wedge. Their are two ways they achieved this that are readily available just by looking at the clubs; the hosel length and the head thickness. The head thickness is immediately obvious when looking at the back of the head, the lower lofts are thicker towards the sole of the club while the higher lofts are much thicker near the crown. The function does not take anything away from the form, these are beautiful clubs. The tour chrome finish is the classic sleek look that Titleist has mastered and that you know and love.
