About the Cleveland CG11 Wedge
The Cleveland CG11 Wedge is an improvement on the CG10 wedges that won the the Golf Digest editors choice award for Best Wedge in 2005. They return with the CMM metal that blends microscopic carbon spheres into the metal during casting to mimic the softer feel of forged clubs. It also features "Gelback Technology." This technology involves the integration of a lightweight, vibration-dampening gel insert placed directly behind the clubface. The Gelback insert helps to reduce vibrations at impact, providing a softer feel and more consistent feedback. This design aims to enhance the golfer's comfort and control, particularly on delicate shots around the greens. The Gelback Technology also helps to improve the overall feel of the club, contributing to better touch and precision in a variety of short game situations.
