The Titleist 975 D Driver was the "it" driver for good players from yesteryear. The sweet spot on this baby is about the size of a nickel so if you aren't consistently smacking your drives on the screws, this club isn't for you. However, if you are able to swing like a pro, this might be one of the sweetest drivers on the course on any given Sunday. The sound on a good shot is like a couple angels clinking glasses after a classy toast. Not only does it sound great, the ball just freaking goes. How many 20 year old clubs can generate 170 mph ball speeds? The answer is not many. Just to touch on the small sweet spot again, if you don't hit it on the sugar dot, you are going to feel it and it won't feel good.
