The face is designed using artificial intelligence to optimize ball speed and spin consistency on off-center hits in particular. Lightweight triaxial carbon crown and a forged carbon sole again save weight and redistribute it to the areas that need it for more forgiveness. There is dual tungsten weighting on the sole plate that encourages a higher launch and promotes faster ball speeds. The sole was also redisgned from previous models to add more camber to improve turf interaction and versatility from difficult lies.
