Denver, Colorado doesn’t do anything in half-measures and that goes the same for its sporting goods stores because we have another shop that’s not just selling new and used golf clubs but also a myriad of other products as well. At Sports Plus you can get stuff for: 

• Skiing, Snowboarding, Ice Hockey, Darts, Biking, Pickleball, Volleyball, Inline Skating, Outdoors Tennis, Yard Games, Figure Skating, Longboarding, Soccer  Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball, and of course: Golf. 

For golf they have women and men’s left and right hand, junior left and right hand, golf bags, and other accessories. They do rentals and repair services as well so you can get multiple things done all at once at Sports Plus.

We’re going to take a slight pivot away from the all encompassing sporting stores and go to Lenny’s Golf Shop, also known as Lenny’s Golf & Ski, where you can get all of your golfing (and skiing) needs met by the team behind the counters. No need to search for the “golf section” here, unlike the other two shops on the page, Lenny’s is mainly golf-centric. 

Since 1985 they have been helping golfers hone their craft by selling quality products, offering custom fittings, and repair services. Located near Cherry Creek Country Club, right next to Babi Yar Park, Lenny’s Golf Shop can meet your golfing needs with their impressive stock and game knowledge. They are open Monday through Thursday 9:00am to 7:00pm, Friday and Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm, and Sundays 9:00am to 5:00pm.

As a 6’6” guy it’s nearly impossible to find a set of irons with 2 inches added. Lenny’s worked with me to trade in a set of used clubs to get me fitted for some brand new Callaway Rogue ST Max irons. It took about 10 strokes off of my scorecard. It didn’t end there though. They offered a free second fitting where I hit on one of their gorgeous new simulators and got some incredibly helpful tips on how to keep my shots straight and added a quick putting lesson as well. For new or experienced golfers this is the spot to go. I know I found my golf shop for life.”

There aren’t a ton of brick and mortar golf shops where you can get used golf clubs and other equipment that are in the Denver area. There are a few Club Fitting, Building, Customization, and Repair shops like Gott Golf, D’Lance Golf, and Golf Father Golf if you are interested in extended golf services. If you know golf, you know PGA TOUR Superstores. They are a chain-brand of golf-shops that have pretty much everything a golfer needs to get started in the greens. They’ve got a wide selection of brand-named new and used clubs, golf bags, shoes, gloves, balls, accessories, and tech to help you improve your swing. PGA TOUR Superstores also offer select services like lessons, STUDIO fittings, practice bays, and clinics, along with hosting events like “Free Putter Fittings.” This PGA TOUR Superstore is located in Westminster by Lake Arbor and is open Monday through Friday 10:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 8:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am to 6:00pm.
