Locals recommend Biltmore Golf Course for being super well-kept, Normandy Shores Golf Course is for those who like a bit of a challenge, and Miami Beach Golf Club for the views. Since it’s Miami, expect to pay $$$ to golf in the city, but if you ever want to venture out a couple hours then it’s more than worth the drive to spend a little less money.

If you are a part of the golf scene in Miami or are looking to get into the golf scene, there’s one shop that’s recommended by almost all who are in the know and that’s Planet Golf. Planet Golf located in-between Sunset and Glenvar Heights boroughs has been the go-to place for years now.

With two in-store simulators, Professional Club Fitters, and an inventory filled with new and used golf clubs, shafts, bags, rangefinders, and exclusive offers, you’ll be hard-pressed to find another store that takes their craft as seriously. They even have stuff for kids which is pretty great considering a lot of golf stores don’t have anything for the little ones and golf is a game for everyone to enjoy, not just adults. Planet Golf is open Monday through Friday 10:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm, and is closed on Sunday.

When it comes to our favorite game we love the phrase: “the more the merrier” because in this case it’s true. Finding the right clubs can take time especially since there are so. many. options. out there. We’re kinda like Goldilocks in a way, trying to find the club that feels “right” in our arms and luckily at Golf Trader, a store in between Woodmont Country Club and Colony West Golf Club at the Mcnab Plaza is the place where you’ll be able to have your own Goldilocks moment because they have an inventory worth admiring.

They have major brand named clubs, along with used sets, bags, balls, and accessories. Plus while you’re there they do fittings, repairs, and specialize in other services as well like trades and on-site appraisals. Golf Trader is open Tuesday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Resale shops are something special, especially when they are locally owned by people in the area- that’s when you know you’re really shopping sustainably. Play Or Trade Sports is a local sporting good resale shop that, like Golf Trader, has a huge inventory well worth the drive. Located in Pembroke Pines right next to Flamingo Park and Pines Ice Arena, this store has been around for a hot minute now. They buy, trade, and consign almost any piece of sports equipment, including golf clubs! 

You'll have lots of golf bags filled with used golf clubs on the store’s floor where you can sift through to find your golden goose…or in this case golden glub. The customer service reviews are varied, but you’ll just have to go in and see for yourself. Play Or Trade Sports is open Monday through Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday 11:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on Sunday.

At this Edwin Watts Golf store you’ll be able to utilize their Full Service Club Repair, Indoor Putting Green, Golf Simulators, Launch Monitor Club Fitting Technology, and equipment on the floor including a selection of new and used clubs, apparel, bags, balls, accessories, and technology to improve your game. They are open Monday through Friday 10:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am to 5:00pm.
