If you’re just swinging by town for the theme parks and you happen to be staying in Universal Orlando Resort, then you’ll be happy to know that just down the street right next to Spring Lake itself is an Edwin Watts Golf store. Southeast and Southern golfers will know the name Edwin Watts because they come from Worldwide Golf which is one of the biggest businesses in golf retail as they own multiple franchise chains. 

You can take a look through their inventory to find a used golf club that will best fit your game, and if you’re looking for something extra they also have golf bags, balls, apparel, footwear, and tech. Edwin Watts Golf also offers select services like their Full Service Club Repair, Indoor Putting Green, Golf Simulators, Launch Monitor Club Fitting Technology, and Golf Club Rentals. They are open Monday through Saturday 9:00am to 7:00pm and 10:00am to 6:00pm on Sundays.

Not too far away from the Edwin Watts Golf store we mentioned above is America’s Golf Outlet Inc., which is the city’s biggest outlet for golf shoes. With over 4,000 pairs in stock, you’ll be able to find a pair that fits your feet right the next time you’re out on a course. But we’re not here to talk about their shoes, you’re here about their clubs. 

Although their store is massive and there is a lot of merchandise on the floor like tees, balls, headcovers, and apparel- their club section is probably smaller than what you may have hoped for. That’s not to say there aren't any used clubs worth looking at, if you find yourself in the area you can pop your head in to see what they’ve got. What is unique is they offer premium brand rental sets and free custom fittings which may entice you even further to take a quick look. America’s Golf Outlet Inc is open Monday through Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm and on Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm.

Although the store might be on the snug side, the products they have in stock are well worth the squeeze. If you aren’t familiar, Play It Again Sports is a part of the resale franchise with the likes of Plato’s Closet, Once Upon a Child, Style Encore, and Music Go Around. You can find a whole variety of sporting goods here both used and new including golf clubs, bags, balls, and accessories.

This Play It Again Sports is located in Altamonte Springs right near Lake Brantley next to the Shoppes at Brantley Hall, from other’s reviews we’ve found out that they tend to move buildings but stay within 1000 feet of each-other, so maybe call ahead to make sure they are still located at their current address.

You’ll get a smorgasbord of things to look through so be on the look out for possible hidden gems and bring your own stuff into trade should you have any to make some money or get store credit. Play It Again Sports is open Monday through Friday 10:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Sunday 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

You need to frequent it periodically. They won't negotiate on used equipment price which is a shame. Some pricing on used equipment is very good, others not so much. They keep relocating so make sure you map it correctly, the moves all seem to be within 1000 feet, just different parking lots over the years.”
