Callaway Steelhead III Fairway Woods

About the Callaway Steelhead III Fairway Wood

The Callaway Steelhead III Fairway Wood followed up on the success of the Steelhead Plus Fairway wood. It features "Steelhead Technology," characterized by a unique, weight-saving steel face and body construction. This technology allows for a thinner face, promoting faster ball speeds and greater distance. The steel face is designed to provide a high strength-to-weight ratio, enhancing the club’s performance while maintaining a solid, durable construction.

Another significant feature of the Steelhead III Fairway Wood is the "Flat Sole Design." This sole design reduces turf interaction and improves the club's ability to glide smoothly through tough lies to improve ball contact on grassy lies or even out of sand. The Flat Sole helps to reduce drag and ensures clean contact with the ball, enhancing playability.

Each Steelhead III Driver and Fairway Wood also incorporates Callaway Golf's shaft sleeve design. A thermoplastic
sleeve offers increased durability and stability where the shaft meets the clubhead. This decreases the stress on the
shaft at impact to lessen the potential for shaft breakage.
