Getting You the Best Used Putters Under $150
Posted by Shayla Burke on May 08, 2026
Golfers will go on debates about what “the best feeling in golf” is. Some say it’s getting to wind up with a driver as hard and as fast as you want, watching that ball fly to distant lands. While others talk about the satisfaction of getting your ball out of the tough, finally bringing it back to the greens where it belongs.
But really, when it comes down to it, we know the correct answer: it’s walking over to your bag to get your putter because the hole is in sight. It’s setting up the shot, holding your breath, and gently, but firmly, putting your ball into the hole with a satisfying “kerplunk” sound. That is why we love the game, and that is what keeps us coming back time and time again.
Putters are like putting butter on toast, adding the final touches to a hole, and meeting under or at par. There are so many great putters out there, but we’re not looking for great, we’re looking for the best. And that’s why we’re on the search for the best used putters for under $150 so you can shoot right all while staying within your budget.
But why are we the ones qualified to answer your club questions? Well if you haven’t heard of us yet then let us have the pleasure of introducing you to what we do best:

|
Our story is a simple one, what started out as a side-venture in the highs and lows of selling shoes on eBay, has now turned around to be a business with 20 full-time employees, a 15,000 square foot warehouse, and relationships with private golf courses all over the U.S. At StickHawk you can make your putting dreams come true as we sell quality drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, iron sets, single irons, wedges, putters, complete club sets for those who need the basics to play today, and accessories. We want to match you with the golf club(s) of your dreams. You can take our “Club Decider Quiz” and it will help you decide the exact right make and models you need to feel good while you’re on the course. |

We really care that you’re getting the right golf clubs, we don’t just sell to sell. We mentioned our “Find the right clubs” quiz- (which will either be as a “pop up” as you go onto our homepage or you will see it once you scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you’ll know you’re in the right place when you see our Hawk mascot holding gold clubs like a real player). The team has spent hours coming up with and designing the right questions to find you the golf clubs that’ll fit you at your skill level, and that includes finding the best putters for under $150.
?️Cleveland Huntington Beach Soft 11:
The line-up of Cleveland Huntington Beach putters are a universal favorite, and they’re definitely a favorite for us here at StickHawk. The stability at address will have you feeling good about your chances to hit below par. ?️Wilson Infinite:
The line of Wilson Infinite putters feels like a majestic unicorn, almost impossible to find, but once you do you won’t ever want to go back. We’ll admit that we ourselves don’t have many in stock on a consistent basis and that’s because they are just so dang popular. The Wilson Infinite Windy City in particular will have you averaging under par in a way you never have before. The fly cut milling pattern gives a smooth “medium-like” budge off the ball that feels well balanced with those who are on the greens often.
You’ll find the control and consistency of the entire Wilson Infinite line is worth the try, and there are so many head shapes to choose from!
We don’t have any Wilson Infinite Windy City models in stock right now but we do have another from the line-up that’s pretty much on par with the Windy City model:

A sleek black design that begs to be brought out and used on the greens.

?️Odyssey White Hot:
When looking into the best used putters under $150 we have a name that’s repeated in our circles quite often and that is the Odyssey White Hot line. One thing that gets A+ grades in our books is their durability, many professionals that are on TV in tournaments still play with Odyssey White Hots from over a decade ago. They’re versatile and inexpensive which makes our bank as happy as the balls we’re using them to hit with.
Specifically the White Hot OG is what we’re here to recommend today because it was truly made for a gold ball. Offering a smooth and consistent follow through with your stroke, you’ll find that the balance perfectly emulates what you’ve been practicing. The doublewides are great for those looking for minimal arc and face rotation.

?️TaylorMade Ghost Spider:
Our first TaylorMade on the list is one that’s considered to be an underrated favorite amongst the golfing community. The Ghost Spider line is here to keep you on line no matter where your head or hands are at. The head shape has been said to be more forgiving than others so you’ll just have to see for yourself once you get out there.

FYI: The paint on the Ghost Spider’s chip easily, it’s still an amazing putter, just with a twinge of “aged” look to it.

StickHawk’s Tips for Buying Putters:
Other golfers will tell you this, so we’re just adding to their already sage advice, but there are two things you should know and do before you buy:
- Putters last pretty much forever. Unlike drivers or hybrids, putters don’t see a lot of wear and tear which means when it comes to “upgrading or replacing” it you won’t really need to. Many of the greats will still have the same putter they used at the beginning of their career. So when you do buy a putter, you’re going to be investing in something that should last you a minimum of a decade plus.
- Go test some putters at a local golf store. Many golf-dedicated stores will have a putting green you can practice on so you know what feels best in your hands. You should truly test, test, and test again until you find “the one” that feels best in your hands.
A lot of putters are built with the same technology, so when it comes down to buying, get one that you feel confident in, that’s all it takes.
Finding the best used putters for under $150 is a lot easier than you might have initially thought, especially when so many have the same opinions on what is the best. Cleveland Huntington Beach, Odyssey’s, Wilson’s, and Ping’s seem to be the go-to for many so it’s now your time to decide which one to go for!
