With three locations, one in O’Fallon, the other across state lines in Edwardsville, IL, and their main store in St. Louis proper at the South County Center which is the one we’re talking about here, you’ll be hard-pressed not to find at least one piece of equipment to make its home in your golf bag. 

From new and used clubs, to bags, balls, apparel, and accessories, there’s plenty of merchandise to look through at the store which we always look forward to seeing. Golf Discount of St. Louis also offers lessons, club repairs, and custom fittings. They are an all-in-one shop that’s definitely worth the look. And if you have trouble finding something at one location, call ahead and see if they have it at any of the other two. We don’t have a lot of major golf retailers, but we do have a few, and one we know by name is Golf Galaxy. It has just about everything you could need for a game, from newly minted clubs, to a smaller pre-owned section from their Pre-Owned Club Program, along with apparel, shoes, balls, bags, accessories, and more.

Golf Galaxy also has a list of services including Fitting Sessions with their team, Lesson Packages, Full-Service Club Repairs, and Simulator Rentals where you can practice your swings on various courses. Since it’s a retailer the reviews are a bit below average as each location comes with its own experiences. Golf Galaxy is located in the Des Peres Centre shopping mall just down the street from the West County Center and it is open Monday through Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm and 10:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday.

On the complete opposite side of the spectrum it seems we have a relatively reliable retailer here with this PGA Tour Superstore location in the Manchester Highlands business center as the reviews for here far outweigh the Golf Galaxy location from above. You’ll find like other big-box retailers, they have a pretty stacked bag, from golf bags, shoes, and gloves, to balls, accessories, and tech. PGA TOUR Superstores offer select services like lessons, STUDIO fittings, practice bays, and clinics, along with in-store events weekly.

As for the clubs themselves, well, you’ll notice they have a bigger selection of newer models but do have a few certified pre-owned clubs you can take a look at- the used clubs’ stock varies location-to-location so definitely give a call ahead to be sure before making your way there. They are open Monday through Friday 10:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 8:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am to 6:00pm.
